This class is led by Artistic Director, Greg Lavell.

What to expect

A fun and supportive space

Greg will guide you through the fundamentals of improv in a relaxed, non-judgmental setting. No prior experience is required — just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

Teamwork and Collaboration

Participants will work together to create unique, unscripted scenes and ideas, focusing on listening, sharing, and building on each other’s ideas.

Technique through game

Technique through game: Improv is positioned as a tool to enhance natural abilities rather than just for comedy. The course will introduce participants to “Yes, and,” collaboration, quick thinking, and thriving in unexpected situations. It’s perfect for beginners to grow their skills.

Exploring story through character

This course is about trying new things, taking small risks, and building your confidence through play. Whether you’re a bit shy or love to jump in, you’ll feel encouraged to experiment and grow at your own pace.
